The bride and groom’s big responsibility is to get married, of course, but here are myriad planning decisions to make first. Ideally the bride and groom work together on these decisions, to share the workload and to make sure both are happy with the plans.
Who buys the bride’s dress?
Bride and family pay for bride’s dress, veil, accessories and trousseau (read: lingerie and honeymoon clothes). Groom and family pay for groom’s outfit. All attendants pay for their own clothing, including shoes.
Who drives bride to wedding?
Does the father of the bride ride in the limo? Very commonly, the father of the bride will ride in the bridal limo. If he is the person giving the bride away, it’s usually the most convenient for them to be seated in the same car. They are joined by bridesmaids or other family members.
